Attended Krug 2006 release tasting & tried 3 Krug 2006 champagnes, including Krug Clos du Mesnil 2006, Krug 2006 & Krug Grande Cuvée 162ème Édition (with 2006 base wine) pairing with Michelin chef Uwe delicacies. So spoiled! 🥳🥂🥰I like Krug 2006 more, with elegant bubbles, it’s complex with creamy, toasty, brioche, almond, dried apricot, honey & mineral notes. The finish is long. It brings out the sweetness of the red prawn more. Cheers! 🥳🥂

今日唔單止可以一次過試3款KRUG 嘅edition 160、161及162，仲有機會試首次剛抵港的1990Collection，十分優雅而酸度高，雖有25年歴史，仍然好有活力好新，再放20年都冇難度。多謝主席Maggie Henriquez的分享，一邊飲KRUG, 一邊聽音樂pairing!
Not only did I try the 3 different editions of KRUG (160, 161 & 162) today, I also tried the 1990 collection, which is just released this year & just arrived HK. It's very lively & young with high acidity, it's easy to keep for another 20 years! Thanks the President, Maggie Henriquez, for her sharing & showed us the music pairing with KRUG!
