We are away for a few days for some much needed rest and heart healing. Here's what I packed Ella Grace and us for snacks/lunch!

Peanut butter sandwich
Hard boiled egg in a container
Cucumber sticks, strawberries, grapes, oranges, edamame
Frozen fresh pouch
Frozen water bottle
Grapes, cherry tomatoes and strawberries (for mama + daddy)
Apple
...hard to imagine but it all fit perfectly into a little frozen cooler lunch bag (PackIt available at Aino Living in DPC Waterfront)!

Some tips while you make your lunch boxes ❤️
PRECUT IS YOUR FRIEND :
My genius friend Li Sian taught me this but if you preslice your apple and piece it back together and cling wrap it, it will minimize the oxidation without having to use lemon juice or salt!
I also precut her sandwich into bite sized pieces as well as put together a little cut fruit and veggie buffet in an adjustable pill sorting container (hello Daiso! 👋). This way, it didn't matter where we were, plane, train, bus, boat or what utensils we had, everything was already finger food and she could independently eat by herself.
DUAL PURPOSE
My other hack is to think of ways of repurposing what you are bringing so it saves you time and effort!
For example, her frozen fruit pouch and frozen water bottle also doubled up as an ice pack, the container for her hard boiled eggs to keep the shell intact would also be an extra container later to use to pack her a meal if needed then we don't have to worry about scheduling activities around her meals etc.
The baggie that I used to put her sandwich in was also our trash bag on the plane!
