Jessie Chung is an international recording artist and actress based in Australia, currently under the management of Future Entertainment & Music Group. True to her multitalented status, she is also a doctor of medicine in oncology, naturopathic doctor (US), certified nutritional consultant (US), homeopathic doctor, certified iridologist, biotech researcher, accomplished entrepreneur, author, martial arts coach, and philanthropist from Malaysia. Besides holding a doctor of medicine degree (M.D.) in Clinical Chinese and Western Integrative Medicine—Oncology from Guangzhou University of TCM, China, she also possesses a Master of Business Administration from The University of South Australia and a Bachelor of Science in Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine from Oriental Medical Institute, Hawaii, USA. In recent years, she was the only naturopathic oncologist selected as one of the Hummingbird Cancer Centre leading members to head their natural therapy department. Her passion for music was evident at a young age as she racked up numerous singing competition awards. In junior high school, Jessie was the only youth representative in the entire district selected to sing at the National Day Celebration. She then proceeded to perform on many TV programmes in subsequent years. Her high school years in Canada was highlighted by her participation in an international talent contest held by TVB, and she successfully entered into the finals at the ripe age of sixteen. Besides singing, Jessie also has a gift for musical instruments, passing grade 8 organ at a young age with distinction, under the examination of Japanese auditors. After her studies, she devoted herself into the entertainment industry and charity; so far, she has released eight albums and starred in three feature films. In 2013, she took on lead actress in the Chinese film Faces and Malaysian film Unchanging Love. She also appeared in the 2014 film Kungfu Taboo. She is known for her ebullient and enigmatic concert performances in countries all around the world, including the United States, Canada, China, Taiwan, and Malaysia. With experience in dozens of concerts in five different languages, Jessie yielded huge responses from fans around the world during her 2015 Love Unity Concert, leaving barely any space in the arena. Building on her success from the previous year, she proceeded to perform in the Jessie Chung Exquisite Chinese Orchestra Concert in 2016, selling out all ten performances. Besides touring and performing in concerts, she has also starred in several stage plays, tackling lead roles in Malaysia, Singapore and Canada. Her recent stage production Moonlight was also well received by the visual arts community, and the organizer has brought Moonlight to numerous locations around the country. By now, she has released six Chinese albums and two English albums. Her single Love in You was selected as the theme song for the Korean TV series My Secret Garden in Taiwan, whereas her album of the same name topped Malaysia’s aiFM Top Hits Chart, staying at number 1 for many consecutive weeks. In China, her album Loving You charted among the top 10. Her recent album Tearless Sky rose to 4th place on the I Radio Top Hits Chart and 6th place on the Pop Radio Top Ten Music Chart just within two weeks of initial release in Taiwan. The album was well received by the public and has received appraisal from music journalists. She has appeared on numerous TV shows in Taiwan, and her album was strongly recommended by the TV hosts of the programmes, one of them being Kevin Tsai (Cai Kang Yong), in his legendary TV show Kangsi Coming. Exhibiting a strong presence on TV shows, Jessie has recently been invited to host TV shows in both China and Australia. Although she spends a great deal of time releasing albums and performing on stage, Jessie also enjoys a retreat from the hectic world once in a while to recharge and ponder upon her life. During these quiet times squeezed out of her schedule, she authored Stay Away from Cancer, Stay Away from Diseases, and the Jessie Diary series, informing the world with her medical experiences while also giving them a peek into her soul. She has authored more than ten literary and medical works to date, most of them in English and Chinese, with translations in Malay. As an accomplished martial arts practitioner, Jessie has successfully achieved the 5th Duan of Chinese Wushu Duanwei; she is also a certified Wushu coach, referee, and instructor. She has won a total of 12 gold medals and 5 silver medals in various international Wushu competitions. 💓The stage play debuts at Symphony Theatre on 26 September, stars Jessie Chung, Marcus Choot, Lily Lim, Paul Lee, John Lee and Jessica Chung, and is directed by Director Jeffrey Beh and Assistant Director Terry Lim. Jeffrey Beh, Terry Lim, Paul Lee and John Lee all majored in performing arts and music.

💞After co-starring in “Moonlight” and “Music Box”, what kind of chemistry will Jessie Chung and Marcus Choot create this time? What’s more, American heartthrob brothers John and Paul Lee will also join forces in this stage play. 那是整部片到最後所有主創人員名單出來前的最後一個畫面
應該所有作品最後一個畫面
都是極為重要的
而「我在台61」卻是選了三個字最為結束
叫做「路上見」
並用了三位主角：李亦捷、楊鎮、福地祐介的聲音詮釋
而這個來自越南的讀者的截圖留話
竟是把這句話的翻譯
圈了起來
給了一的大問號
並寫了「MEET」

這樣的截圖
好像看到小學作業老師對於你的作業不滿意
而做的舉動

親愛的阮女士，
謝謝您的指教！我萬分感謝您觀賞這部電影，而且給予我們您寶貴的意見。
您建議在劇終「我們 路上見」（Let’s Me Again, on the road.) 應該是（Let’s Meet again, on the road)。您的建議在標準文法完全是正確的。但可以容許我為您解釋一下最終導演仍採用了我們使用「me」的想法嗎？

語言本就是一多層次的表達工具。中文尤其美麗，尤其一個簡單的用字可以有好多不同的心思。
在接到這份翻譯的殊榮時，我是既興奮又緊張的。李鼎導演的詩意作家特質,及對角色，故事的詮釋，描寫及張力，絶對不是平舖直敘就能感受到他的初衷，他的溫度。所以，明知冒險，我還是選擇做了大膽的嘗試。我和團隊（二位ABC) 經由彼此對各自語言及文化的了解，試著把李亦捷，Ray （楊鎮）及福地佑介的個性，藉由使用語言的個性，帶入他們的對話裏。
因著「台61」而讓他們三位相遇，也延伸了之後的故事。在從最初Ray 安靜的推著重機不願打擾到海鳥的開始，第一個「me」就出現了，然後是亦捷⋯所以。
在最後，當三個人，開心但不捨地以咖啡乾杯後的分道揚鑣， 許下再見面的心願時，這是李鼎導演在影片中第二次使用「路上見」（第一次在福地祐介留給李亦捷的紙條中）（第一次我們翻譯使用的是：See you on the Road），而當第二次再度使用「路上見」並用在片尾，使用三位角色的聲音，我們覺得意義非凡，不再來自於See you on the Road的想像，決定讓中文中的詩意，翻成Let’s Me again, on the road.這讓三個角色心中無論是吶喊，低訴或是緯緯道來，我想，都是由她/他的心「me!」「 Let’s Me...」讓我，在路上再次遇見你。

很感謝李鼎導演給了我和團隊這樣美好第一次翻譯的經驗，我仍有許多需要進步的空間，也期望因著這部「我在台61」, 我們都因此有共享的公路，感動及連結。
再次謝謝你也觀賞「我在台61」，所以我們相遇，聽到彼此的聲音。

Thank you so much for the comments. I am so grateful that you watched the movie and given valuable comments. Please allow me to explain the usage of “me” here ( I am responsible to translate the scripts.)
Yes, you are absolutely right on the “ Let’s MEET” again!” in most of the circumstances. But I am humbling to say that my purpose of translating the word “meet” to “me” is trying to emphasis on the willingness of “coming back on the road again” from three individual main characters. They are all cheering up for their fate to be together because of Highway 61. So I thought they would shout out loud from their hearts to say “let’s me again, on the road!” to echo the director Lee’s poetic style.
Like every language, it’s never easy to complete portrait the whole story from one to another. A simple word could have few different meaning in the culture. It’s truly my pleasure had the opportunity to translate the Chinese( or Taiwanese) story to English. There are so many beautiful words and touching moments that just can’t change words to words. And each characters has her/his personality and tones. Therefore, I try to adopt the heart of story with the understanding of English that I think it would sound most authentic for each characters. This has been an amazing experience to me, walking along with director Lee to see my country and helping to deliver the landscape, the sea breeze, the birds, the temple...and the Highway 61 to you in different language.

I had two roommates that kept eating all of my food. Although classes haven't started, I had already moved into my dorm. One day, I made myself a peanut butter sandwich. I put my sandwich on the table, and ten minutes later, it was gone. My roommate ate it. About a week later, I decided to make myself another peanut butter sandwich. I opened my cupboard and saw that my roommates left an empty jar in my cupboard. I flipped out because who eats a whole jar of peanut butter, without introducing themselves? These girls would scarf down all my food, and complain if they thought anyone was touching their food. So I started buying really fattening food such as doughnuts, pies, cakes. I was trying to teach them self-restraint, but these girls would go through these boxes within two days. So I kept buying doughnuts and desserts. And then one day they started complaining about how they couldn't fit their jeans. Success. I also put laxatives in my peanut butter.

It was move out day and my roommate was working on a paper last minute. I was packing my stuff. His parents walked in and were absolutely pissed that he wasn't packed yet. They immediately started scolding him while I was still in the room, but thankfully I had a final to go to and figured I'd dodge the storm. I said my goodbyes, assuming they'd be gone by the time I got back from my two hour final and went on my way. As it happens, my final only took twenty minutes so I got back much sooner than they'd have expected. I opened the door, saw my roommate bent over his bed with his bare ass showing just as his mom wound up for a spank. I quickly closed the door and went over to a friend's dorm until I felt safe enough to return. I never brought it up to him after that.

這首歌曲有著非常動人的詩詞，講述丈夫在失去妻子後非常哀痛，原本打算帶著孩子追隨妻子的腳步，卻在整理妻子遺物時發現了她寫的一首詩，詩的內容告訴丈夫：請不要在我的墳前哭泣，我將化作千風、星辰、白雪、陽光陪伴在你們左右，我並沒有離去，而是用另一種型態陪伴在左右。

僅以此曲獻給一位善良，總是帶著甜美笑容的大提琴學姊，雖然我們再也見不到面了，但我相信在天堂國度的妳也會陪伴在我們左右，謝謝妳曾經給長笛姐姐的鼓勵，下輩子還要再一起演出喔！
