Side split difference a month apart. Lower than before but still can't reach the floor. The burn 🔥 is also different.

4 Apr - burns around the inner thigh.
11 May - burns from inner thigh to knee.

Does it mean I will feel the burn from inner thigh to foot if it's a full split? 🤣 And am not even seated yet. Would wanna rotate my hips to leg to full range motion, one day. Also trying to fall front instead of pulling my legs back to return to normal. Oh the struggle 😅

最近每次訓練即使不是練上身日子,我都會做有機器輔助的引體向上和雙槓屈臂,希望之後達成可以徒手解鎖這兩個動作!!
有時候給自己不同任務去完成和突破,會讓健身更有趣,更有動力!!
最近還有在增強自己的保加利亞深蹲(之前超痛恨),但If you never try, you will never know! 現在身體更穩定更平衡了,做起來也沒覺得那麼困難,但酸痛成度真的可以升天!! 等我練熟了這個,之後要挑戰單腳深蹲!!!
I have been practising pull up and dip on the machine for a few months. I do it everytime when I go to the gym even it's not an upper body day. I can feel my upper body is getting stronger and toned. Hopefully I will be able to do it with my body weights soon!!
Also, I kind of love Bulgarian split squats now as I also have been practising it on my legs day. I used to hate it but since I knew how much it will benefit my legs and glute, I pushed myself to do it.
That's the beauty of fitness to me. Push yourself out of your comfort zone and experiment something new or something you are not good at then overcome it! ♡♡♡

After I do CrossFit regularly, I found my body is much less flexible than before, like I used to easily get into front split or yoga mudrasana or hook my foot to my belly without warm up. But now, without warm up, I cannot even get my back thigh touch the floor in #hanumanasana and I really can feel the stiffness after workout.
One day my yoga friend asked me do you think you are much less flexible than before? I said yes I do, but It’s ok, of course she wanted to know why, I asked why do we need to be that flexy? Why do we always aim to touch our toes to our head? Or why do we always aim to put our leg behind head? Why this is necessary? I think I still have good amount of flexibility in my body but just don’t go extreme, I really think flexy = yoga is a very ignorant thought. I lift to build my strength, I stretch to make my body feel better, and I do yoga to remind me who I am and I believe the more important is to apply yoga in our life. I guess this is how I want to maintain it

Beginner to Intermediate
Workout Intention
1. activate and strengthen your glute muscles
2. improve mind muscle connection
3. work on imbalances betwen left and right side of the body.
Do follow the tempo and keep thinking about the muscle you want to work and I guarantee you will and ache the next day :)
