With only one aim, which is to clock a sub 35 min - 10k, every lap 84 seconds!

I am so glad that I can hit the pace quite consistent, running an average of 84 seconds / 400m throughout the 25 laps.
Running alone is a challenge, plus running on a 400m track for 25 laps is another challenge.
The first 5 laps were great, then the 6 - 10 laps were good, lap 11 - 15 were quite taxing.
Final 10 laps were the best as I can start to do the countdown!
When comes to last 5 laps, I gradually pick up the pace and kept digging deep. Clocked a 77.3 seconds for last lap.
Ended up with a 34:57 min - 10km - Average 3:30 min / km, 84 sec / 400m.

Great Run today at NPE 10KM. Stomach discomfort at the startling line, not sure what happened. And although didn't hit my target time, but I executed the plan well. First 5k at a much steady pace, and start to accelerate after that.
First 5k: 17:58 min
Next 5k: 17:26 min
10k at: 35:24 min (3:32 min/km)
Last 300m at 54.8 sec.
*Have a great chat with the IJM Executive on the podium. I told her, this is my third time 2nd place in NPE 10K Run. I will be back again next year. Glad to be back and connect into the running community! Happy to meet so many friends here too!
