《Spicy Chicken with Cheese $15》This was served to our table bubbly hot on a cast iron skillet!!
The chicken was tender and coated with a spicy and slightly sweet sauce
Eating spicy food with cheese is the bestt~~ it cancels out the spiciness that burns my tongue so I can actually enjoy the food xD I also add a slice of cheese into my Korean Spicy Instant Noodles at home and I always have a glass of milk ready (you can tell how weak I am on spicy food 🙄)
The thin crunchy crisps have a roasted flavour and I think they complimented the dish really well. At the end even though I was pretty full I just kept munching on this. A small piece of chicken and cheese on the crisp make such a yummy snack 😋
However, I think I will appreciate this dish even more if we weren't sitting close to the entrance. The cold air totally cooled down our cheese! If only they have a way to keep the skillet warm for longer
Overall I really like this Izakaya place. I hope they can improve their ventilation system so the restaurant is not super smokey every time they have to bbq some skewers 🙈

ヤンニョムチキンチーズ
2人分
材料:
鶏手羽元 8本
塩 少々
コショウ 少々
酒 大さじ1
生姜(すりおろし) 小さじ1
片栗粉 適量
サラダ油 適量
◼︎甘辛タレ
酒 大さじ2
砂糖 大さじ2
しょうゆ 大さじ2
酢 大さじ1/2
コチュジャン 大さじ2
にんにく(すりおろし) 小さじ1
◼︎チーズソース
ピザ用チーズ 200g
生クリーム 20ml
作り方:
1.手羽元は骨に沿って包丁で切り込みを入れる。塩、コショウ、酒、しょうがを加えてもみ込み、全体に片栗粉をまぶす。
2.フライパンにサラダ油を1cmほどの高さまで入れて熱し、(1)を並べ入れ、時々返しながらきつね色になるまで揚げ焼きにし、一度取り出す。
3.キッチンペーパーでフライパンの余分な油を拭き取り、甘辛タレの材料を加えて弱火にかける。ふつふつとしてきたら(2)を戻し入れてタレを全体に絡める。
4.チーズソースを作る。フライパンにピザ用チーズと牛乳を入れて中火にかけ、かき混ぜながら溶かす。
5.器に(3)を盛り、(4)をたっぷりかけたら、完成!

CHEESY SPICY KOREAN CHICKEN
Servings: 2
INGREDIENTS
Wings
8 chicken wings
Pinch of salt
Black pepper, to taste
1 tablespoon sake
1 teaspoon minced fresh ginger
Cornstarch, for coating
Vegetable oil, for frying
Wing Sauce
2 tablespoons sake
2 tablespoons sugar
2 tablespoons soy sauce
½ tablespoon vinegar
2 tablespoons gochujang
1 teaspoon minced garlic
Cheese Sauce
200 grams shredded mozzarella cheese
20 milliliters heavy cream
PREPARATION
Make the wings: Add the chicken wings to a large bowl and season with salt, pepper, sake, and ginger. Mix well to coat.
Sprinkle the cornstarch over the chicken and toss well.
Heat about 5 centimeters of oil in a large nonstick skillet over low heat until it reaches 325°F (160°C). Add the chicken wings skin-side down and fry, flipping once, until the chicken is golden brown and cooked through.
Make the wing sauce: In another large pan, combine the sake, sugar, soy sauce, vinegar, gochujang, and garlic, and stir. Cook over low heat until bubbling. Add the wings to the sauce and toss well until the chicken is fully coated. Remove from the heat and set aside.
Make the cheese sauce: Add the mozzarella and heavy cream to a medium pot over medium heat. Cook, stirring occasionally, until the cheese is melted and bubbling. Remove from the heat.
Arrange the wings on a serving plate and pour over the cheese sauce.

雞搥 6,辣椒 2 tbsp,蒜蓉,牛奶 200ml,胡椒粉,
雞味炸粉 300g,紅椒粉 2 tbsp,辣椒粉 1 tbsp,卡真粉 1 tbsp,鹽
甜辣醬 3 tbsp,水 50ml

做法:
1. 將雞搥,辣椒,蒜蓉,牛奶,胡椒粉拌勻,待30分鐘
2. 將雞味炸粉,紅椒粉,辣椒粉,卡真粉,鹽拌勻
3. 拿出少量與甜辣醬,水拌勻
4. 將雞搥沾上粉漿和炸粉,用170℃油炸7分鐘
5. 灑上辣椒

6 Chicken Drumstick, 2Tbsp Minced Garlic, 2Tbsp Minced Pepper, 200ml Milk, 3Tbsp Tabasco, 2Tbsp Paprika Seasoning, 1Tbsp Red Pepper Flakes, 300g Chicken Panko, 1Tbsp Cajun Powder, Salt, Pepper
1. Remove skin from chicken and place on a bowl. Rub chicken drumsticks with minced garlic and minced pepper.
2. Pour milk and pepper over the chicken and cover the bowl with plastic wrap. Let stand for at least 30minutes.
3. In a large bowl, combine panko, paprika seasoning, red pepper flakes, cajun powder, salt and mix well.
4. Add 50ml of water and 3Tbsp sriracha on to 1/3 of panko mixture and mix well.
5. Add the panko mixture to a large re-sealable plastic bag. Remove the chicken pieces from milk and dip into water mixture batches. Then Drop them into the bag, shaking them to make sure they are heavily coated.
6. Heat oil in a deep-fryer or large skillet to 170°C. Fry the chicken for 7 minutes until juices run clear.
7. Sprinkle peperoncini on top and serve.
