If someone told you a woman had a bun in the oven, you may think it means she’s in the kitchen baking. But you’d be wrong. 1⃣Saying someone “has a bun in the oven” is actually a humorous way of saying that they’re pregnant. Ex: I heard a rumor that Kathy has a bun in the oven.
如果有人跟你說有位女性的烤箱裡有麵包，你大概會以為這女性在烤東西，不過這是誤會一場。說某人 has a bun on the oven，其實是詼諧表達她懷孕了。如：I heard a rumor that Kathy has a bun in the oven.（我聽說凱西懷孕了。）
And let’s end with another humorous one. 2⃣ A Dutch oven is a type of heavy pot used for making stews and casseroles, but it also has another meaning: farting when you’re in bed with someone and then pulling the covers over their head! Ex: Brian was acting like a jerk, so I got back at him with a Dutch oven.
最後再介紹另一個詼諧的用法。「Dutch oven 荷蘭烤箱」是用來製作燉菜和砂鍋菜的重型鍋，不過它還有另一種含義：「蓋被子放屁」，你跟某人躺在床上時突然放屁，然後還將被子蓋在他頭上！如：Brian was acting like a jerk, so I got back at him with a Dutch oven.（我用蓋被子放屁一招回敬布萊恩這混蛋。）
