It was quite an honour to be a key note speaker at the Canadian Chamber of Commerce Women in Leadership event recently. It was humbling for me to be in the company of some incredible and inspiring leaders, @robcandy of Unilever and a true #heforshe advocate, April Srivikorn @april_srivikorn of Google and @happ_iness_pics of L’Oreal who all spoke about what they believed to be their top leadership qualities and how to use them in order to be successful. Truly inspiring and empowering, especially as I was the only one of the four who didn’t come from the corporate world at all, but rather have had a long career as a freelance artist in the entertainment industry. I chose to speak about how important it is to own your authenticity, and how I finally came to be able to truly understand what that means only recently. The “leadership” part comes after you are able to accept and own who you truly are and then use your voice and purpose to then empower the next generation to do the same. I feel as I am only starting out on this journey of empowering through example but so far it has been extremely inspirational and rewarding. Thank you for giving me the opportunity! CanCham Thailand. Its through events like these that we are all able to connect, learn from each other and become inspired to become the best version of ourselves. ❤️ #WIL2019 #speaker #womeninleadership #empower #authenticity #keynotespeaker @ Renaissance Bangkok Ratchaprasong Hotel

Thank you, Thailand!!! Just wrapped up our 2nd annual Show Me the Baht - Term Sheet Bootcamp Bangkok 🎉🎉! Much appreciation to our Sponsors- Krungsri Finnovate, Bangkok Bank InnoHub, Taiwan Tech Arena, Singha Ventures and Anduin Transactions for making this event so successful. Special thanks also to the Community Partners- Spaces, Ananda Campus at FYI Center, HUBBA Thailand, AIS The Startup, dtac Accelerate, Techsauce Thailand, Thailand Tech Startup Association and NSTDA for the support extended to our team in Bangkok. It was also a pleasure to have Ambassador Tung from the Taipei Economic & Cultural Office in Thailand to address the attendees with his opening remarks highlighting the cooperation between Thailand & Taiwan. With everyone’s participation, this year’s event was an awesome networking and learning workshop for everyone!
This year, TSS was excited to invite 20+ international investors, legal/accounting experts and serial entrepreneurs to share their first-hand knowledge and experience on how to prepare for fundraising and to help startup founders build the proper mindset for negotiating a Term Sheet.
Also, it has been a great pleasure to meet the 16 awesome Startups, and all the outstanding Entrepreneurs and our Corporate and Media friends! This Bootcamp would not have been as fruitful without all of you!
📝 Key Takeaways:
✒️ There’s no definite answer to the financing amount; it’s about the startup’s actual need.
✒️ Fundraising is a process of self-examination of your business strategy.
✒️ How can Thai teams sustain competitive advantage? Find and hire the right people.
✒️ Investors are not looking for beautiful statistics, but rather how you are going to spend their money.
✒️ Due Diligence is a two-way process, you can find out if the investor is a proper fit.
✒️ A Term Sheet is like a prenuptial agreement rather than a mere business deal; a good investor would aim to bring you toward the next round.

What stops you from feeling sexy?Sexiness is not something you can turn on and off.You have to cultivate it,get in touch with your energy wisdom. As women, we are often taught to be like men if we are to be successful. Also, to be stronger in the masculine ways of competition, doing it all ourselves, or being in our ‘head’ ,being a 'bitch' all the time. But that is not at all what I understand now. My yoga helped me understand this.
I had a high flying corporate job, bagging modelling campaigns, my fair share of airtime, attending society events in the limelight-earning good money surrounded with love by family and friends-but I was still worn out.I then recognized that you can still manage your responsibilities while tapping into soft and stern at the same time.
It helped me learn how to manoeuvre myself in the world but also pushed me into being a more confident woman who knows what she wants, knows what to do when things get a little crazy and even understand how to communicate with men better especially my husband!
If we can allow ourselves to receive, to collaborate, and to ‘feel’ before doing, we can begin to de-stress and hear our internal guidance on what actions to take first instead of the other way.So when I speak of feminine power or feminine energy, I have a strong belief in the support it can offer women to take look a closer look within and see if they are out of balance with their own masculine and feminine energy-yes,we have both ladies, and the same for men.It is about the balance of creation❤🌏 And once you tap into understanding both your feminine and masculine wisdom, as JT put it ,you can Bring Sexy Back!💃🏾💃🏾💃🏾
