The second edition of the #AHDBYongChefCompetition was held last month Towngas Cooking Centre in October.
Chef Max Wong from The Shady Acres won the competition with his mouth-melting chargrilled lamb breast and seared pork tenderloin. Competitiors were asked to serve two meat dishes using premium beef, pork and lamb from the UK with an Asian twist.
A big thanks to the judges: Vicky Lau of TATE Dining Room, Chef Ricky Cheung 大廚張錦祥 of The Food Story and TV chef Christian Yang (楊尚友) and all the eight talented finalists.

The final countdown to AHDB Young Chef Competition has begun!
Next Friday, our eight finalists will be cooking for 👨🍳 Christian Yang (楊尚友), Chef Ricky Cheung 大廚張錦祥 and 👩🍳 Vicky Lau from Tate Dining Room & Bar.
